QC Inspector / Technical Inspection Coordinator

An experienced Technical Inspection Coordinator is required to be based in Reading on a contract/agency basis

This is an initial 6 month contract with the likelihood of extension therafter.

Key Responsibilities:
" Co-ordination and management of projects inspection activities,
" Review and comment on ITPs,
" Maintain Project Inspection Schedules,
" Attendance at Pre-Inspection Meetings,
" Inspection of all equipment and materials and complete inspection reports,
" Preparation and distribution of inspection assignments packages for Field Inspectors.
" Review and distribution of Fields Inspections Reports, Release Notes and NCR’s.
" Ensure that all work undertaken is accomplished in compliance with FW Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and Corporate Policies.

Essential Skills:
" Applicants should be able to demonstrate competence in the role of QC Inspection Coordinator preferably achieved in an Oil & Gas environment or similar.
" It is desirable that applicants have attained a recognised qualification in Engineering and preferably a relevant Inspection/QA/Welding Qualification.
" Applicants shall be able to interpret and understand Engineering documentation, drawings, standards, codes & regulations.
" Ability to make Ad Hoc supplier visits to manufacturers premises, UK & abroad.
" A strong background in inspection and testing.
" Previous EPC inspection coordination experience.
" Team player.
