PROCESS TEAM LEADER
The main purpose of this role is to lead, manage and develop the Process Team whilst taking full responsibility for the quality and delivery of work performed by the team. This is a significant role within the business reporting to senior management.
DUTIES
o Develop, support and manage the Process Team, client base and projects.
o Responsible for people management of the Process Team. To include recruitment, retention, staff development / coaching and mentoring. Performance and Development Reviews, Contractor Audits, secondee management and succession planning.
o Liaise and communicate closely with clients. Develop effective client relationships and generate business leads for the Process Team and wider PI business.
o Ensure technical accuracy and integrity of the engineering carried out by the Process Team. Recognised as a Technical Authority and thus assigned the "Lead Engineer" on technically advanced or complicated projects.
o Responsible for supporting and / or leading proposals development including technical, pricing and contractual aspects.
o Responsible for the team administration, to include: resource allocation, budgetary responsibilities, job control, invoice and contractor queries.
o Deputise for the Consultancy Division Manager as required.
o Support the Management of other technical teams within the Consultancy Division.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
o Successful track record of managing and delivering high value projects to ensure that excellence is achieved in management and technical capacity.
o Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, mentor and manage others to develop them personally as well as technically.
o Technical authority within the discipline as a fully developed professional engineer with substantial experience and expertise.
o Experienced in commercial, contractual and administrative aspects of engineering to include tender and proposal documentation.
o Advanced leadership and excellent networking skills essential.

o Aberdeen based
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
o UK Bachelors degree or Equivalent in appropriate engineering subject or International equivalent.
o Chartered Engineer and member of appropriate engineering institution.
