senior Estimator required for Farnborough

Under administrative direction, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Personal safety as well as the safety of co-workers
Prepare estimating procedures used on projects/proposals
Participate in improving techniques for estimating
Provide general supervision and/or administrative direction to a staff of estimating personnel on larger projects
When acting as lead, coordinate and direct the estimating functions on projects to provide guidelines and reports for responding to client and project management requirements
Utilize estimating methods and the expertise of other project professionals to establish total project estimates.

Engage in direct contact with other functional areas, including client and field contractors
Maintain and support the office estimating database and information such as escalation indices, rate of exchange variation, productivity, etc.

Further refine understanding of indirect and conceptual estimating theories and techniques
Coach others in basic understanding of supervisory techniques
By this level, one or more job-site assignments completed

Some of the basic tasks frequently performed in this position include, but are not limited to:
Execute indirect and conceptual estimates with direction
Defines the intent and use of the estimate based on an understanding of the Proposal and/or Contract Terms
Coordinates estimate development activities with the Project Estimator
Works with Engineering disciplines to prepare the Estimate Schedule
Assists in the development of Home Office and Construction Budgets
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

It is ESSENTIAL that you have Principal / Lead / Senior Estimating experience for these roles
Experience using Estimating Systems
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry
Offshore estimating would be an advantage.
Prefer college/equivalent plus vast amount of proven estimating experience.
