Procurement Coordinator

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
o Administer the transactional procurement process relating to R&M `Services’ Requisitions utilising company procurement system (MAXIMO)
o Amending R&M `Services’ related Purchase Orders as and when required
o Ensure all R&M related Purchase Orders comply with company P2PO policies and procedures
o Liaise with the accounts payable and PO Support departments to resolve R&M `Services’ order Invoice issues
o Expediting and coordinating contractor resources to support the R&M function as required
o Liaising with the asset Materials Coordinators to ensure Direct Supply related materials are ordered and delivered/returned prior to deadlines.
o Gain an understanding of the Company Materials Management processes and systems.
o Liaise with Contract Managers & PSCM Category Specialist to resolve Purchase Order issues relating to R&M related Contracts.
o Build an excellent working relationship with all those involved in the offshore supply chain to help drive a standardised approach to procurement across the RPU
o Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders
o Ensure that all operations comply with BP HSSE and other regulatory requirements


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA & QUALIFICATIONS
o Effective supplier relationship management skills
o Experience of using Maximo/SAP or similar systems
o Excellent communication skills, with a positive "can do" attitude
o Experience of oil & gas or related process industry

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

An operational background in procurement or Supply Chain Management
Member of CIPS or MILT
